Although the following websites inevitably offer second hand scripture (to be explained in an upcoming post), they are extremely useful collections of information through which a great deal can be learned. These are three sources that I turn to for interpretation, conviction, clarification, and direction in my life as a Christian. The writers from each offer tangible real world applications of biblical concepts and are grounded with a solid foundation on Jesus Christ.

The Resurgence

"The Resurgence is a movement that resources multiple generations to live for Jesus so that they can effectively reach their cities with the gospel by staying culturally accessible and biblically faithful."

TheResurgence.com is the home of an extremely active blog and a database of articles that are very relevant to our daily lives. The Resurgence is a website that particularly emphasizes video resources and visual appeal rather than more traditional forms of information such as unformatted text and audio.

"Desiring God exists to say...
God's ultimate goal is to glorify himself. And that's good news.
Everything we do aims to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ."

DesiringGod.org is based on the ministry of Pastor John Piper of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis. The website houses a frequently updated blog with fantastic insight into Biblical passages and how they apply to our lives, as well as a virtually endless supply of audio, visual, and textual resources.

The Gospel Coalition

TheGospelCoalition.org is a compilation of resources from a large variety of church leaders and denominations. It exists to show the unity of Christianity as a global Church representing Christ's kingdom. Despite social differences and conflicts, the Gospel Coalition works to eliminate unnecessary barriers to more boldly spread the message of eternal life through salvation in Christ to more people in more places around the globe.

The Gospel Coalition has nine different blogs and serves as a hub source for articles and publications from hundreds of different pastors and church leaders.
